There have been numerous spy shots of the upcoming BMW 1-Series, but these newest ones are of the coupe with very little camouflage. World Car Fans This is the version of BMW’s smallest car that we will actually get here in the U.S.
Many enthusiasts are excited about the release of this coupe and convertible due to its small size and light weight. BMW has stated that they will not offer the 1-Series in the US with a 4-cylinder, but they haven’t given full details on the engine lineup. It is expected to get the 3.0L 6-cylinder from the 130i and the twin-turbo 3.0L inline six from the 335i.
The car is expected to start at about $25 – $28k when it shows up here.
