Renault-Nissan May Still Seek an Alliance with Either Ford or Chrysler


Last year Renault-Nissan was in talks with General Motors about a possible alliance between the automakers. But unfortunately the talks ended when neither side could come to an agreement on the price of the relationship. Now fast forward to 2007 and Renault-Nissan is reportedly looking for a relationship with either Ford or Chrysler.

Carlos Ghosn met with the French Newspaper Le Parisien where he mentioned that a future relationship with Chrysler or Ford could be possible. The automaker is very interested in expanding, once Nissan gets back on track. Nissan has been experiencing negative growth lately.
