Second-Generation Chevy Cruze Interior Revealed, Will Arrive in U.S. as 2016 Model

This year at the Beijing Motor Show, Chevy unveiled the second-generation Chevy Cruze. At the show we only saw the Chinese-spec second-generation Cruze’s exterior, but now we have the first photos of the all-new interior.

This year at the Beijing Motor Show, Chevy unveiled the second-generation Chevy Cruze. At the show we only saw the Chinese-spec second-generation Cruze’s exterior, but now we have the first photos of the all-new interior.

The second-generation Cruze will move more upmarket with an interior that is covered in higher quality materials, a new center stack and an updated gauge cluster. The new Cruze is also going to get the latest version of Chevy’s infotainment system, MyLink II system that is accessed through an eight-inch touchscreen.

Although China is already getting a new Cruze, the U.S. is going to have to wait a bit longer until the 2016 model year. We’ll have to wait and see how close the U.S.-spec Cruze is to the Chinese version, since there have been reports that the U.S. version may get a longer wheelbase and a few other changes.
