Restyled 2013 Lexus RX Debuts in Geneva

The restyled 2013 Lexus RX crossover has been unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show with the new bolder, signature Lexus spindle grille and an upgraded interior.

The exterior of the 2013 RX is now sportier thanks to a new bumper, headlights with LED daytime running lights and new fog lights. The rear end has also been updated with restyled taillights. inside the 2013 RX gets a redesigned steering wheel, metallic accents and a redesigned center console.

The 2013 RX 350 is powered by a 270-hp 3.5L that is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The 2013 RX 450h hybrid has a total 295 horsepower thanks to its 3.5L V6 and electric motors. For 2013 the RX 450h features a Sport mode with revised steering effort, throttle mapping and transmission-shifting priorities to fully exploit the capabilities of the powertrain. The RX 450h gets 32 mpg in the city and 28 mpg for the front-wheel-drive model and the all-wheel-drive version gets 30 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

A Sport Appearance Package is new for 2013 and offers an unique front bumper, halogen headlamps and 19-inch wheels with superchrome finish.
