Ford hasn’t released any photos of the 2016 Explorer, but did state that it will have a “new look, added capability and additional driver-assist technology.” Some spy photos of the 2016 Explorer have shown that it will get an updated front fascia with a new grille and revised headlights. There will also be some changes to the rear of the 2016 Explorer.

What else can we expect? Some sources claim that the 2016 Explorer will get a revised 2.0L EcoBoost engine and it may also get the new 2.7L V6 EcoBoost that is being offered in the 2015 Edge and F-150.
