Ram unveiled the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX on Monday, its rival to the F-150 Raptor on Monday and on Tuesday, August 18, it opened the order books. Even with its $92,010 starting price, the limited-production TRX Launch Edition sold out in only three hours.
Ram only plans to produce 702 units, so it’s not too surprising how fast they were spoken for. The ram 1500 TRX is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 with 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.
The TRX Launch Edition comes exclusively in Anvil Gray paint, which is exclusive to the edition. It adds carbon fiber interior trim, a color accent package, head-up display, beadlock-capable wheels, 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and bodyside graphics. Inside there’s also a special red and brushed-aluminum center console badge to signify how special the TRX Launch Edition is.
If you weren’t lucky enough to get the TRX Launch Edition, the good news is that the standard 1500 TRX is available starting at $71,690.
