Porsche is expected to release a new range topping Macan GTS in the near future.
With the arrival of the new 2015 Porsche Macan SUV, Porsche’s annual sales could pass the 200,000 mark next year, which is three years earlier than expected. Most of the sales increases will come from models like the Cayenne and the new Macan, which Porsche could easily sell around 50k Macans this year alone.
Right now the 2015 Macan is only offered in S and Turbo versions, but there’s a possibility that an even more powerful Macan GTS could be in the works. Porsche already offers a GTS version of the Cayenne and other models in its lineup, so there’s a pretty good chance that we’ll see a Macan GTS in the near future.
Porsche’s CEO Matthias Mueller even hinted at the possibility in a recent interview.
