Porsche is going to reveal the next-generation 2018 Porsche Cayenne on Tuesday, August 29. If you want to see the debut as it happens Porsche will livestream the event starting at 9 pm CEST.

Porsche has also released a teaser sketch of the third generation Cayenne – previewing a sleeker profile than before. The new Cayenne will be based on the same MLB Evo platform as the Audi Q7 and new Volkswagen Touareg. The 2018 Cayenne will launch first with turbocharged V6 and V8 engines, but the diesel version is likely delayed. A diesel-powered Cayenne in the United States is also not likely, due to Dieselgate.

The next-generation Cayenne will also offer plug-in hybrid versions, like the Panamera. The top Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid will borrow its powertrain from the Panamera and pack around 680 horsepower under the hood.

You can watch the debut here.
