Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport to debut at the LA Auto Show

Porsche is bringing a new racing version of the Cayman GT4 to this year’s LA Auto Show – the Cayman GT4 Clubsport. Using the Cayman GT4 as its base, the Cayman GT4 Clubsport gets a double clutch transmission, lighter suspension and beefier brakes.

Porsche is bringing a new racing version of the Cayman GT4 to this year’s LA Auto Show – the Cayman GT4 Clubsport. Using the Cayman GT4 as its base, the Cayman GT4 Clubsport gets a double clutch transmission, lighter suspension and beefier brakes.
The Cayman GT4 Clubsport is powered by a 3.8L six-cylinder with 385 horsepower that is mated to a double clutch transmission with shift paddles on the steering wheel and a mechanical rear-axle locking differential. It borrows its lightweight suspension strut front axle from the 911 GT3 Cup and the racing brake system is fitted with steel brake discs all round measuring 380-millimeter in diameter.

It weights in at just over 2,800 pounds and comes equipped with a welded-in safety cage, a racing bucket seat as well as a six-point harness.
