It’s been reported that Porsche has been mulling the idea of introducing a more coupe-like SUV to rival models, like the BMW X6. Now a new report claims that Porsche has made a decision to build it and we’ll get to see it in a few months.
Autobild is reporting that Porsche will reveal the new Cayenne Coupe this fall, likely at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Since Porsche hasn’t confirmed any details about the new Cayenne Coupe, we don’t have any big details to go on. It’s expected that the Cayenne Coupe will feature a more sloped roofline to give it a more coupe-like look. Under the hood, the Cayenne Coupe will likely share the same powertrains as the standard Cayenne.
The same report claims that Porsche is finally getting ready to release a successor to the original 928. The new 928 will be positioned as a two-door grand tourer version of the Panamera.
