Polestar 3 ,4 and 5 models teased

Polestar 3, 4 and 5

Polestar recently announced a plan to go public via a SPAC deal and now it’s announced plans to add three more EVs to its lineup by 2024. We already know that the Polestar 3 crossover is coming next year, but now it will be followed by the Polestar 4 and Polestar 5.

Polestar lineup

The Polestar 3 will be about the same size as the next-generation XC90, both of which will be based on Volvo’s new SPA2 platform. Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath also recently told Autocar that the Polestar 3 will be a rival luxury crossovers, like the Porsche Cayenne. It will also only have two rows of seats and will be offered in single and dual-motor versions.

That means for buyers that want a more affordable electric crossover, they will have to wait until the Polestar 4 arrives. It will sit lower to the ground and have a more coupe-like profile than the Polestar 4.

Lastly the Polestar 5 is the production version of the Precept concept, which will rival other sleek electric sedans, like the Porsche Taycan.
