Nissan has announced that it has updated the electric Nissan e-NV200 van with a new 40kWH battery that gives it a 60% longer driving range up to 174 miles (NEDC), which is 62 miles longer than before.
The updated e-NV200 was unveiled at Nissan Futures 3.0 in Oslo, Norway. The e-NV200 is perfect for businesses with delivery needs, since it’s small size makes it perfect for city deliveries or trips. Buyers in Europe will now be able to travel further thanks to the new battery upgrade.
‘With its longer range and excellent cargo capacity, the new e-NV200 is the perfect last mile delivery solution for urban deliveries and collections,” stated Gareth Dunsmore, Electric Vehicle Director, Nissan Europe. “Given the huge impact that business deliveries/collections and professional drivers have on air quality and traffic congestion, especially in city centers, helping cut the level of CO2 emissions they create is a vital part of creating a more sustainable future.”
The e-NV200 with the upgraded battery will be available to order before the end of 2017.
