A camouflaged prototype the new Audi RS3 was recently filmed doing laps on the famed Nurburgring in Germany. The top version of the Audi A3 lineup, is powered by a turbocharged 2.5L five-cylinder engine, which is expected to generate around 360 horsepower.
The RS3 will send all that power to the ground via a DSG transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. A manual transmission is also reportedly being considered. While this version will have around 360 horsepower, a more powerful version with 400 horsepower is being considered.
Other changes include a new body kit, a dual exhaust system and a sportier suspension. Although the prototype here is wrapped in the five-door Sportback body style, a sedan version is possible.
