Mercedes-Benz USA CEO Dieter Exler recently revealed at the 2016 LA Auto Show that there aren’t any immediate plans to sell the X-Class here.
Last month Mercedes-Benz unveiled its new X-Class midsize pickup in concept form and has expected, the automaker has no plans to bring it the U.S. any time soon. Mercedes-Benz USA CEO Dieter Exler recently revealed at the 2016 LA Auto Show that there aren’t any immediate plans to sell the X-Class here.

“Once the next version of the truck comes out — when we see the next iteration — there might be an opportunity to bring it in the medium and the long-term.”
For now Europe, Latin America, South Africa and Australia are on the list to get the X-Class in 2017. For now Mercedes-Benz says that it will continue to evaluate the pickup for the U.S.
