It's the End of the Line for the Saab 9-7x

Saab is going to end production of the Saab 9-7x next year because of slow sales after only being on the market for three years. The 9-7x is built on the same platform as the Chevrolet Trailblazer and is built in Moraine, Ohio. The Trailblazer is also going to be discontinued. Both SUVs will be replaced by crossovers.

The replacement for the 9-7x, the 9-4x will be built on GM’s Theta platform when it is released in 2009.
