Mopar says that “Something Big is Coming” and we’ll get to see it next week at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The teaser doesn’t reveal much, but it does hint that a new Hemi crate engine is coming.
Mopar already offers three Hemi crate engines, but next week it might be adding another one to the list. Right now buyers can get the 707 horsepower 6.2L Hellcat engine, but it’s possible that the 6.2L V8 from the Challenger SRT Demon could soon be offered as a crate engine as well.
Some other clues include the fact that Mopar plans to reveal the engine on Tuesday, October 30 at 4:26 pm. The exact time could hint at the previous 426 Hemi “Elephant” engine.
