Mitsubishi’s Lancer Sportback is set to debut this fall and reportedly the automaker is working on a crossover version that will debut in early 2010.
This computer generated image of the Lancer Sportback X features a raised suspension, protective body cladding, new alloy wheels and a revised front grille. Powertrains have not been confirmed but it is expected that the crossover version of the Lancer Sportback will get the same turbocharged engine and all-wheel-drive system as the Lancer Ralliart.
