Mercedes-Benz is giving Europe a teaser of the new T-Class van lineup, with the debut of the Concept EQT. The concept not only previews the T-Class, but a fully electric version as well.
The Mercedes Concept EQT is a stylish small van with its slim headlights, big grille and 21-inch alloy wheels. At the side there are cool pop out handles for both the front and rear sliding doors. Just like the other EQ models, the Concept EQT features a full-width LED light bar at the rear.
The Mercedes EQT can fit up to seven passengers and there’s enough cargo space to carry an electric longboard.
Underneath that stylish exterior, the EQT will be based on the same platform as the Renault Kangoo E-Tech Electric. This means that it will likely have a 101 horsepower electric motor and a 45 kWh battery pack that gives the small van a 165 mile range on the WLTP cycle.
