Mercedes-Benz has announced the pricing for the V8 versions of the 2019 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe. The GT 63 starts at $137,495 including the destination fees, while the GT 63 S is priced at $159,995.
The Mercedes- AMG GT 63 is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo with 577 hp and 590 lb-ft. of torque, while the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S packs 630 hp and 664 lb-ft. of torque. The GT 63 S reaches 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 195 mph. The GT 63 is barely slower with its 0-60 mph time of only 3.3 seconds and its top speed of 193 mph.
If you want something a little more tame, the GT 53 is powered by a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder turbo engine with EQ boost. The 429 hp 3.0-liter engine is mated to an electric “EQ Boost” which adds an addition 21 hp and 184 lb-ft. of torque. Mercedes-Benz has not announced the pricing for the GT 53.
The GT 63 S comes standard with the AMG Performance Exhaust System, the AMG Dynamic Plus Package including Active Engine Mounts, RACE Mode, Drift Mode, and AMG Drive Unit steering wheel controls.
Both the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 and Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S will arrive in the first half of 2019.
