Mercedes-Benz is reportedly going to rename the ML-Class SUV to the GLE-Class next year, while the upcoming production version of the Concept Coupe SUV will be named the GLE Coupe.
Mercedes-Benz is reportedly going to rename the ML-Class SUV to the GLE-Class next year, while the upcoming production version of the Concept Coupe SUV will be named the GLE Coupe.
The move is part of Mercedes’ plan to simply the naming of its model lineup with the M-Class name becoming closer to the E-Class with the GLE name. The next-generation GLK SUV will also get closer to the C-Class being renamed the GLC.

Mercedes-Benz has yet to make an official announcement, but the GLE name is expected to debut next year when the mid-size SUV gets a facelift.
