With the debut of the Concept Coupe SUV this month at the Beijing Motor Show, Mercedes is getting ready to release a new range of coupe-like crossovers. The first model will be the 2016 MLC, which will look close to the Concept Coupe SUV, but there’s a possibility for more models in the future.
If the MLC does well, Mercedes could make a smaller one to compete with the 2015 BMW X4. It’s being reported that that a smaller coupe-like crossover could be spun off the GLA crossover, with the name GLC. There’s no word when the model could arrive. The GLA’s styling is already more carlike than an SUV, so is a more “coupe-like” version really needed?
