According to Bimmer Post, the M2, which will be a smaller alternative to the M4 Coupe will be powered by a turbocharged 3.0L inline six-cylinder that will generate around 375 horsepower. Expect the coupe to be offered with a choice of a manual or automatic transmission. Compared to the 1-Series M Coupe, the M2 is expected to be produced at a higher volume, which is good news for fans of the old coupe and the new 2-Series.
