It’s doubtful that a person would actually criticize the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class for not having enough “luxury”, but it’s possible. For those buyers that want even more luxury in their GL, Mercedes has announced the GL-Class Grand Edition. 
The new special edition “Grand Edition” adds light 20-inch alloy wheels, two-tone leather seats and wood trim in black ash on the inside. The Grand Edition is distinct from the other GL models with its dark-tinted headlights, the radiator grille with black louvres and a restyled front bumper with integrated LED daytime running lights. Mercedes also added metallic paint finishes, heat-insulating and infrared-reflecting laminated glass all round, aluminium-look running boards with rubber studs, and separated exhaust tailpipe trim.
The special Grand Edition is available on any of the GL models with prices starting at €80,206 for the GL350 CDI BlueEfficiency Grand Edition. The top model is the GL500 that starts at €99,127.
