Want a G-Class, but want to stand out even more than your neighbor? Mercedes-Benz has unveiled two new special edition versions of the new G-Class, which are part of the Designo Manufaktur range.
Available on the G 350 d and G 500 models, the Designo Manufaktur edition is available in three distinct paint finishes: Designo magma red, Designo mystic white and obsidian black. The special edition also adds black AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels with 275/55 R 19 tires. The three louvres of the radiator grille, the exterior mirrors and the spare wheel cover are also in obsidian black to round off the design.
The interior of the G-Class Designo Manufaktur edition adds black Designo nappa leather with red topstitching. The AMG Performance steering wheel has the same color combination, while the interior trim is black Designo piano lacquer and its all topped off with red Designo seat belts. There are a few packages that also come standard, including the Exclusive package, Sport package and Chrome package.

If you step up to the G63 and G65 AMG models there’s a new Exclusive edition that adds AMG sport strips on the sides, rub strip inserts in a dark aluminum look and the spare wheel cover painted in the vehicle color. The Exclusive edition also gets AMG alloy wheels with size 295/40 R 21 tires.
Inside the G 63 and G65 AMG models get the Designo Exclusive package with a two-tone, leather-lined dashboard and two-tone leather AMG sport seats. Other options available from the Designo Manufaktur range include Designo seat belts in red, leather-clad grab handles in the roof liner and a two-tone AMG Performance steering wheel matching the seat colors.
The special edition G-Class models will arrive this fall.
