The new AMG sports car is likely the new AMG GT, which is smaller than the current ALS AMG. The AMG GT will go head to head with models like the Porsche 911 with its twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 with somewhere around 500 horsepower.

AMG also confirmed that last year it sold a record 32,200 units thanks to the introduction of new AMG models like the CLA45 AMG and A45 AMG.
