If the BMW 3 and 4-Series lineup couldn’t get even more confusing, BMW has just pulled the covers off the 2015 4-Series Gran Coupe. The 4-Series Gran Coupe is another take on the four-door coupe and is the third model to join the 4-Series lineup.
If you’re a fan of the 3-Series sedan, but want a bit more style, then here’s your car. The 4-Series Gran Coupe has the same length, width and wheelbase as the two-door coupe, but an extra set of rear doors makes it a bit more user friendly. From the front, the 4-Series Gran Coupe is identical to the coupe, but as you move back you’ll notice that the 4-Series Gran Coupe’s roof is twelve millimeters higher and stretched 112 mm longer where it ends with a hatchback layout.
Under the hood the 4-Series Gran Coupe arrives with the same engine lineup as the rest of the 3 and 4-Series models. In the U.S. the 4-Series Gran Coupe will be offered as the 300-hp 435i and 240-hp 428i. Both engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive is also optional.
The 2015 BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe is going to debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show and will arrive in showrooms this summer. The 428i Gran Coupe starts at $41,225, while the 428i xDrive Gran Coupe starts at $43,225 and the top-of-the-line 435i Gran Coupe will have anprice tag starting at $46,725.
