Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that it will offer the new small A-Class sedan in the U.S. in 2018. Mercedes-Benz recently revealed the news about the A-Class in Miami this month, where officials confirmed that it will arrive in fall 2018.

U.S. dealers were also given an early look at the A-Class sedan at a dealer meeting in Miami. “It’s a very nice-looking vehicle,” stated Ken Schnitzer, chairman of the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Board, who also owns four Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Texas. “I’m sure it will be competitively priced.”

Mercedes-Benz recently previewed the A-Class with the Concept A a few months ago. When it arrives it will start below $30k, which is also where the CLA started when it debuted in 2013. Since its release the CLA’s price has inched up slightly to $33,695 with the destination fees.

“I’m very excited about it,” said Jeff Aiosa, a Mercedes dealer in New London, Connecticut. “It just gives us another opportunity to bring that youthful buyer in and have them grow up with the brand. It looked like it would be very appealing to the millennial buyer.”

Mercedes-Benz also revealed the AMG GT four-door sedan at the same dealer meeting in Miami, where it confirmed that it will arrive in the summer of 2018. The AMG GT four-door will be a direct rival to the Porsche Panamera. Mercedes-Benz has yet to confirm what the AMG GT sedan will be called.
