McLaren Confirms Entry-Level Sports Series, Debuts in Second Quarter of 2015

McLaren has confirmed plans to introduce a new entry-level sports car called the Sports Series. The entry-level model was previously referred to as the “P13” and will slot in below the 650S in the McLaren lineup.

McLaren has confirmed plans to introduce a new entry-level sports car called the Sports Series. The entry-level model was previously referred to as the “P13” and will slot in below the 650S in the McLaren lineup.

The Sports Series will feature a carbon fiber chassis and mid-mounted V8 engine. It’s estimated that it will sprint from 0-62 mph in four seconds with a top speed close to 185 mph. As the new “entry-level” McLaren the Sports Series will make the brand a little more attainable with a price tag that should start in the low $200k range.
