Mazda currently offers the Mazda6 in sedan and wagon versions, but could a new coupe join the lineup? According to Auto Express, Mazda is working on a coupe version of the Mazda6.
According to the report the Mazda6 coupe will debut in 2016 with more aggressive styling and a sleeker roofline than the sedan. It’s possible that the Mazda6 coupe could draw most of its inspiration from the Shinari concept that debuted back in 2010 with the brand’s current Kodo design language.

Auto Express is reporting that the Mazda6 coupe would give Mazda a coupe that could tap into the luxury coupe market and compete with models like the BMW 4-Series.

Mazda has yet to confirm anything, so stay tuned.
