Mazda continues to expand its SUV lineup, which includes the new CX-50 and the upcoming CX-70. Now Mazda has released a teaser of the 2023 CX-60, which will be positioned above the CX-50.

The big news is that the CX-60 will be based on a new rear-wheel drive platform, moving it more upmarket than the CX-50. It’s expected that it will also get a new straight-six engine, in addition to a 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid system with over 300 horsepower.

The Mazda CX-60 will officially debut on March 8. Mazda has not confirmed that the CX-60 will be sold in the U.S., but earlier reports claim that it will not be. Instead there are two new SUVs planned for here: the CX-70 and CX-90.
