Mazda has unveiled its newest concept, the RX-VISION at the Tokyo Motor Show. Although its wrapped in a very sexy exterior, the even more exciting fact is that it is powered by a new rotary engine.
Mazda has unveiled its newest concept, the RX-VISION at the Tokyo Motor Show. Although its wrapped in a very sexy exterior, the even more exciting fact is that it is powered by a new rotary engine. According to Mazda, the rotary engine is a symbol of the company’s “never-stop-challenging” spirit.

Does that mean that Mazda is finally working on a new RX with a rotary engine? Lets hope so! The RX-VISION is powered by a next-generation Skyactive-R rotary engine. Mazda hasn’t revealed many specifics about the RX-VISION or its rotary engine, but Mazda’s Representative Director, President and CEO, Masamichi Kogai, did state, “Mazda will continue to take on new challenges in an effort to build a special bond with our customers and become their ‘one and only’ brand.”
