Mazda Koeru concept debuts at the Frankfurt Motor Show

Mazda has unveiled the new Koeru crossover concept today at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Designed under Mazda’s latest Kodo design language, the Koeru concept is a sporty crossover that could previews the design of its future crossovers.

The name “Koeru” means “exceed” or “go beyond” in Japanese, comes from Mazda’s aspiration to deliver value that goes well beyond the existing category norms and standards. Mazda believes that the Koeru concept’s “styling that exudes power, vitality and a new level of polished refinement.”

Design elements from the Koeru concept will likely show up in the next-generation CX-9, which is expected to debut in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
