Last month a report surfaced that revealed that Lincoln is working on a replacement for the compact MKC crossover, which will be called the Corsair. It was reported that the Lincoln Corsair would arrive in 2021, but now a new report claims that it will arrive earlier in 2020.

Ford Authority is reporting that Ford has pulled the introduction date of the Lincoln Corsair forward, which means that it will arrive in 2020. Even though the 2019 Lincoln MKC received a refresh, it’s reportedly not sticking around too much longer.

We have no idea what the Lincoln Corsair will look like, but sources claim that it will borrow styling cues from the Lincoln Aviator concept that debuted a few months ago at the 2018 New York Auto Show. Sources claim that the design of the Lincoln Corsair’s front fenders, side mirrors, taillights and rear bumper will be inspired by the Aviator concept.

A production version of the Aviator concept is also slated to arrive in 2020. The Lincoln Aviator will also reportedly look very close to the concept.
