Lexus is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its high performance F models with the release of the new limited-edition Lexus RC F and GS F models. Both models are debuting this week at the Tokyo Motor Show and will go on sale in Japan by next spring.
The RC F and GS limited-edition models get upgraded shock absorbers and lightweight titanium mufflers to improve their performance. Carbon fiber-reinforced plastic has been added to the exterior and the body panels are finished in matte gray. Inside both models feature the special “Heat Blue” color, which is a symbol of the “F” lineup.
“Ever since the launch of the “IS F” in 2007, the development theme of Lexus “F” sports models has been to create sports cars that can put smiles on the faces of anyone who wants to have fun driving, regardless of skill.”
Lexus hasn’t announced if the limited-edition Lexus RC F and GS F models will be available in the United States.
