Subaru continues to use the Viziv name for its concept vehicles and now it’s unveiled the latest one – the Subaru Viziv Performance concept. As its name suggests, this latest concept previews a future high performance model, which likely hints at the direction of the next-generation WRX.
The Viziv Performance concept draws inspiration from Subaru’s current sedan, like the WRX and Legacy. The concept is based on Subaru’s “Dynamic × Solid” design language, while lightweight carbon fiber is used for the bumpers, fenders, and the roof. At the front the Viziv Performance concept features an aggressive face with a wide grille that feeds air to the boxer engine. The concept’s muscular fenders call attention to the concept’s Symmetrical all-wheel drive system.
Just about every concept debuting this week at the Tokyo Motor Show features new driver assist technologies. The Subaru Viziv Performance concept uses Subaru’s EyeSight driver assist technology, but it’s been enhanced a bit.
