Lexus Group Vice President, Jeff Bracken has revealed that Lexus is planning on debuting at least one new model at the upcoming 2015 Detroit Auto Show. One model is expected to be a new high-performance model, but there’s also the possibility that the next-generation RX could debut at the show.
One thing that will definitely not be at the show is a new entry-level model. Lexus has no plans to release a $30k model to compete against models like the Mercedes-Benz CLA or Audi A3. “You won’t see Lexus go down below $30,000,” Bracken told the Detroit Free Press. “For Lexus to be truly luxury, the division needs to keep ourselves above $30,000.”

It’s expected that the high-performance model that we’ll see next month will be the mcuh talked about GS F. The GS F is expected to get the same 5.0L V8 as the RC F, but with a bit more power around 500-hp.
