According to reports Lexus has delayed the introduction of the LF-A supercar and high performance GS-F sedan.

The upcoming GS-F, Lexus’ answer to the M5 has been put on hold due to the slowing economy and the introduction of the LF-A has been delayed since the car apparently hasn’t met the performance targets of a vehicle costing six figures. Also redesigned versions of the small IS sedan and ES sedan are still a few years off. Although Lexus is going to introduce a coupe version of the IS next year as a 2010 model.

Lexus is also reportedly working on a version of the next generation Prius and a small crossover for 2013 that is based on the RAV4 that will compete with the BMW X3.
