With the arrival of the 2019 Lexus UX subcompact crossover, Lexus is also launching the Lexus Complete Lease subscription program. The subscription program is similar to what other automakers, like Volvo offers, but with one big difference – the Lexus dealers set the pricing.

2019 Lexus UX pricing

The Lexus Complete Lease is a two-year subscription program that includes 20,000 miles, insurance, maintenance and tire-and-wheel protection all for one monthly payment. While the Volvo XC40 is available for $600-$700 through the Care by Volvo program, Lexus is letting its dealers set the pricing.

“For us, it’s really important that the dealers are the ones, front and center, to work with the customer because that’s where the relationship exists,” Cynthia Tenhouse, Lexus general manager of product and consumer marketing told Automotive News.

The Lexus Complete Lease program will launch initially in Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago and Miami, but Lexus could expand it to other cities if it’s successful. Lexus also hasn’t announced if any of its other vehicles, besides the UX will be added to the subscription program.

The 2019 Lexus UX 200 will arrive in December and it starts at $33,025, while the UX 250h hybrid arrives in January with a $35,025 price tag.
