Fifty years ago Land Rover built the first Range Rover model and to celebrate the milestone, Land Rover has unveiled the 2021 Range Rover Fifty.

2021 Range Rover Fifty

The first Range Rover went on sale on June 17, 1970 and five decades later the Range Rover has become an icon in the SUV segment. Only 1,970 limited edition Range Rover 50 models will be built.

The Range Rover 50 is based on the Range Rover Autobiography model. Under the hood it’s powered by a 518 horsepower supercharged 5.0-liter V8 thats mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. All that power is sent to all four wheels and a locking rear differential is standard.

To build upon the Autobiography model, Land Rover added an “Auric Atlas” finish to the exterior trim pieces and the SUV rides on two-tone 22-inch wheels. There are also plenty of “Fifty” badges inside and out.

What we’re most excited about are the three historic colors that the Range Rover Fifty is available in: Tuscan Blue, Bahama Gold and Davos White. It’s also available in Carpathian Grey, Rosello Red, Aruba, and Santorini Black.

Land Rover has not announced the pricing for the 2021 Range Rover Fifty.
