The 2018 Range Rover Sport is getting several updates for the 2018 model year, including updated styling, a new infotainment system and more power for the SVR model. Next year we’ll also get the first Range Rover plug-in hybrid with the arrival of the 2019 Range Rover Sport PHEV.

2018 Range Rover Sport

In terms of styling, the 2018 Range Rover Sport gets a redesigned grille with updated LED headlights and a new bumper at the front. There are also updated 21- and 22-inch wheel designs that are available in silver, diamond-turned or a black finish. The rear gets a more aggressive slotted spoiler that will reduce the amount of dirt on the rear window.

If you want to dress it up even more, the 2018 Range Rover Sport is available with a new Carbon Fiber Exterior Pack that adds Gloss Black and Carbon Fiber additions to the grille, fender vent and hood vent surrounds, as well as the door mirror covers and tailgate finisher.

Inside the biggest update is the new Touch Pro Duo infotainment system that features two 10-inch touchscreens. In front of the driver there’s also the 12-inch digital display and a full-color head-up display. The interior also gets slimmer seats with new Ebony/Vintage Tan and Ebony/Eclipse themes. Semi-Aniline Leather is also available. Lastly the powered roof sunblind can now be closed or opened with a simple hand gesture.

2018 Range Rover Sport SVR

The 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR with its 5.0L Supercharged V8 now has 25 more horsepower with a total 575 horsepower on tap to give the SUV a 0-60 mph time of only 4.3 seconds.

2019 Range Rover Sport Plug-in

Next summer the 2019 Range Rover Sport Plug-in Hybrid will arrive with a P400e badge and will be powered by a 296 horsepower 2.0L four-cylinder and a 114 horsepower electric motor. The entire system generates 398 horsepower and 472 lb-ft. of torque. The power is sent to the ground via all four wheels and it will take 6.3 seconds to reach 60 mph. The 2019 Range Rover Sport P400e will be able to drive up to 31 miles in electric mode.

Pricing for the 2018 Range Rover Sport starts at $67,745 with the destination fees included. If you want the 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR it starts at $114,595. The pricing for the Range Rover P400e has not been announced.
