We’ve been expecting this to happen since we’ve seen spy photos and patent photos of the bigger Land Rover Defender and now Land Rover has announced that the eight-passenger Defender 130 will debut on May 31.
Although we have to wait until the end of the month to see it, Land Rover has released the first photo of the Defender 130, but the sand still keeps most of the design under wraps. The Defender 130 will be longer than the current Defender 110, with all of that extra length at the back. The wheelbase will be the same between the 110 and 130 models.
That means that there will be a lot more room for passengers in the third row and it will have an additional seat compared to the 110 with its three across seating in the second and third rows.
