Lamborghini is celebrating a production milestone for both the Aventador and Huracan.
The Lamborghini Aventador was introduced seven years ago and since then Lamborghini has built 8,000 Aventadors. The 8,000th Aventador was an Aventador S Roadster in Grigio Telesto that’s headed to its new owner in Japan. After only four years Lamborghini is celebrating the production of the 11,000 Huracan, which was painted in Blue Nethuns.
Times are good at Lamborghini since sales were up 11% in the first half of 2018 with 2,327 units sold. Sales are only going to increase with the recent introduction of the Lamborghini Urus SUV. Lamborghini is still undecided about a fourth model. Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali recently told Autocar that Lamborghini has yet to make an official decision about adding a four door sedan to its lineup.
It was recently reported that Lamborghini has been trying to decide between a four door sedan like 2008’s Estoque concept or a third mid-engined model. While both still are being considered, Domenicali has revealed that an official decision won’t happen until the middle of the next decade.
