Kia is reportedly going to release a new Kia Soul next year, according to a Kia executive who unveiled the plans during an earnings conference call. The Kia Soul is Kia’s second best-selling model in the U.S. The exec did not release any other details about the next Soul.
Expect the next Soul to share its platform with the new Rio and to continue to offer a boxy exterior. The same 1.6L and 2.0L four-cylinder engines in the current Soul will also most likely carry over into the next 2014 Soul.
