Kia and Electrify America have announced a partnership to give EV6 buyers 1,000 kilowatt-hours of free charging at any Electrify America station. That equates to 3,500-4,000 miles of driving with no charging cost.
The Kia EV6 has a driving range up to 310 miles and thanks to its 800-volt architecture if can be charged from 10-80 percent in under 18 minutes using a 350 kW charger. Kia EV6 owners will have up to three years to use the 1,000 kWh of complimentary charging.
“Kia is undergoing a pivotal shift to electrification and the all-new EV6 is the first major step in that direction, underpinned by the company’s advanced E-GMP platform,” said Steve Center, COO and EVP, Kia America.
The pricing for the 2022 Kia EV6 starts at $42,115, before any federal or state tax incentives.
