We still don’t know when the diesel-powered version of the Jeep Wrangler JL is going to arrive in the United States, but Jeep has just released the European specs for the new Wrangler, including the diesel version.

Jeep Wrangler buyers in Europe will get to choose from only two four-cylinder engines, the 2.0L turbocharged engine or a 2.2L diesel. The 3.6L V6 is only available in markets outside Europe, like in Africa, the Middle East and the U.S.

The 2.2L four-cylinder diesel engine generates 200 horsepower and 332 lb-ft. of torque. The 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder generates 272 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. The 2.2L diesel and the 2.0L four-cylinder are both mated to a standard eight-speed automatic transmission. Both engines also feature Start-Stop tech.

Sales of the new Jeep Wrangler kick off in Europe in September. Buyers will be able to choose from three trim levels: Sport, Sahara and Rubicon and either two- or four-door body styles. There’s also a new Overland pack for the Sahara trim level. The Overland pack adds unique 18-inch aluminum wheels, a body color grille, body color hard spare tire cover and Overland logo. Inside the Overland pack also adds leather seats.
