Earlier this year Jeep confirmed that it will introduce an electrified version of the Gladiator, but it did not give us a timeframe for the plug-in hybrid truck’s arrival. We’re still waiting for the official announcement, but a new report claims that the Gladiator 4xe will arrive for the 2024 model year.

Mopar Insiders is reporting that an anonymous source at Stellantis confirmed that the Gladiator 4xe will arrive after the Wrangler JL gets a mid-cycle refresh, which is slated for the 2023 model year. That means we should see the redesigned Wrangler at some point next year.

We’ll also have to wait and see if Jeep is planning any updates for the 4xe powertrain, which currently generates 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.
