Hyundai has already revealed the revised 2012 Hyundai Genesis sedan, but we won’t see the revised 2012 Genesis Coupe until the 2012 Detroit Auto Show.

The 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is going to get a revised exterior, but more importantly the Genesis coupe is going to get some power upgrades. Currently the Genesis coupe is powered by either a 210-hp turbocharged 2.0L or a 306-hp 3.8L V6. The V6 is likely to get the same upgrades that the sedan received (direct injection and higher compression ratio), which means it will probably get a bump to 333 horsepower and 291 lb-ft. of torque. It’s unknown what upgrades the 2.0L engine will receive, but it’s expected to be small.

There’s still no word if the Genesis Coupe will ever get the 429-hp V8 from the sedan.
