It looks like Saab is still having issues. Production resumed at the end of May after a six-week shutdown, but today production has stopped again. Saab spokeswoman Gunilla Gustavs told Automotive News Europe that production “ran for a short period this morning, but it stopped and will remain stopped for the rest of the day.”

According to Gustavs, a disruption in the flow of materials is to blame for the latest production issues.

Spyker CEO Victor Muller stated, “Many suppliers did not make parts during the shutdown, some for almost two months. If you run out of parts it can impact production.”

Gustavs did not know when production will resume.
