Do you love the Hyundai Veloster N, but wish that you part of the “Save the Manuals” crowd? Well Hyundai has your answer. Hyundai has confirmed that the Veloster N will get an automatic transmission soon.
Hyundai recently shared the news on Instagram where it shared stated, “It’s coming – the fun-to-drive feeling of N, with the N 8-Speed Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission.”
The eight-speed dual-clutch transmission is likely the same transmission that the Sonata N-Line has. The Veloster N is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates 250 horsepower or 275 horsepower with the optional Performance package.
Hyundai hasn’t announced when it will release the dual-clutch version, but it’s expected to be offered with the 2021 Hyundai Veloster N.
