It’s being reported that Honda’s new ‘Baby NSX’ could arrive by 2018. The reports follow the leaked patent drawings were of the mid-engined sports car that leaked out earlier this year.
According to Auto Express, the mid-engined sports car, which has been called an S2000 successor, will be powered by a 300 horsepower hybrid powertrain. It was reported earlier that the ‘Baby NSX’ would get the Civic Type-R’s turbocharged 2.0L engine, but now stricter emissions regulations are forcing Honda to use a smaller 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder. Combined with an electric motor, the powertrain will generate around 300 horsepower.
